Commission an Oil Painting by Artist Ron Hauser
I enjoy accepting commissions, every one is different.
This can be either you sending me a photo of the subject
Or if you enquire, I can probably locate the images to be used
If you are local to St. Louis, I can visit the location if required
Using various references I am able portray how someone or someone looked at
a specific time in history with reasonable accuracy.
Getting an oil painting done from a favored photograph is a wonderful way of bringing to life a view that you hold dear or even bringing alive a piece of "eye candy" that appeals to you.
Anything from that first holiday with the kids or the house you grew up in.
Photographs do catch the image, some very well, technically but at the end of the day they are just a bit of paper. Nothing can capture the spirit, exude the power, or have the presence of an oil painting.

I require a 50% deposit before starting. The remaining balance only after final pick up or delivery is made...

An extra fee will be assessed if a full detailed background is required depending on detail of background.
An additional 10% will be charged if your order is very urgent. I will work very hard and finish it in a reasonable time schedule based on several factors, the # of images used, size of canvas, and muted background or full detailed background.
Giclee canvas reproductions prints of the painting will be offered to you in several different sizes to pick from. I am one of the only artists that that offer this to my customers.
The reproductions look just like the original and make wonderful gifts for other friends and family members
